JOHAN DJOUROU claims Arsenal will go trophy crazy when they finally end their quest for silverware.And the Swiss defender insists Arsene Wenger remains the right man to take the club forward.
Wenger is set to bolster his squad this summer — despite missing out to Manchester United in the race to sign England Under-21 international defender Phil Jones.
Defeat in the Carling Cup final at Wembley to Birmingham sparked a cataclysmic collapse in all competitions last season as Arsenal's barren spell was extended to six years.
But Djourou maintains the floodgates will open once that first trophy is safely locked up in the Emirates Stadium cabinet.
He said: "You expect better for Arsenal, of course, but I think that when this long run ends it will just go crazy and we will win everything that is there because this club's got so much potential.
